Doris Violet Fox Miller died February 7, 1996 in a rest home in Pocatello, from complications of Alzheimer's.

She was born July 10, 1914 in Eureka, Utah, a daughter of Edward and Violet Bentley Fox, both born in England. Doris married Clell Miller, June 15, 1937. He passed away May 19, 1959.She is survived by four children, Sharon Calbert, of Ogden; Carl Miller, of Inkom, Idaho; Lynn Miller, of Vernal; Keith Miller, of Spring, Texas; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters and one brother, Frances Schauerhamer and Vera Devault, both of Salt Lake City; Lily Solarez, of Mt. Angel, Oregon; Merle Corcoran, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and Gerald Fox, of Garland, Texas. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Howard and Harold Fox, a son, Frank Miller, and two grandchildren.

Doris lived in Eureka until she married. Later she lived in Leota, Bonanza, Vernal, and Salt Lake City. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many church callings. She worked at the LDS Hospital for several years.

Funeral services will be at the Colonial Funeral Home in Pocatello, Idaho, 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 1996. Burial, Inkom, Idaho Cemetery.
