A monthlong undercover investigation of suspected drug dealers ended Saturday morning with a raid by Sandy SWAT officers and the arrest of three people.
Investigators said the couple renting the house, #41 W. 8710 South, have been suspected of dealing drugs for more than a month. Warrants were obtained Friday as a result of undercover police work and confidential informants.A "no-knock" search warrant was executed by police officers about 1 a.m. Saturday. Inside police found large quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
While police were involved in the early-morning raid, a man came to the house to buy drugs. An undercover police officer sold the man drugs and then arrested him. Two men and one woman were booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on drug-related charges.
