Orem City Council

The City Council will meet Tuesday, March 13, to discuss:

- A report from the Citizen's Ad-Hoc Road Bond Committee on traffic improvement projects that could be accomplished over the next two years. If the city opts to bond to pay for the recommended projects, the bond amount would total $16.15 million.

- The recently completed Needs Assessment Study by Polson Architects for housing Public Safety staff and facilities.

The council meets at 6 p.m. in the City Center at 56 N. State.

Highland

In its March 12 meeting, the City Council is scheduled to:

- Authorize a Planning Commission survey regarding residents' opinions on density in Highland.

- Consider submitting an application for state transportation enhancement funds.

- Discuss the pressurized irrigation system for which residents recently approved bonding.

- Discuss joining the Timpanogos Special Service District.

- Discuss the newly created Alpine-Highland Fire District.

The meeting begins at 8 p.m. at the Highland City Building, 5378 W. 10400 North.

Alpine

At its March 12 meeting, the City Council will:

- Consider a zone change for about two acres on Main Street from residential to business use.

- Consider a zone change request for Conrad and Diane Tiechert, 757 S. Alpine Highway, from one-acre to half-acre zoning.

- Consider bond requirements on building projects.

- Consider a resolution adopting cut-and-fill standards.

The council meets at 7 p.m. in the City Hall.
