Uel Udell Hill was born Jan. 22, 1915 in Fayette, Utah, second child of Ewell Hill and Myrtle Bosen Hill. Died March 10, 1996 in Salt Lake City, after a long illness.

He was 81, active member of LDS Church. He graduated from Ephraim High School, attended Heneger Business College and the University of Utah.In August 1939, he married Lael Woolsey, who survives him. Also surviving are three of their four children: Daniel L., Salt Lake City; Katherine-Elizabeth Adams (Lane), Soda Springs, Idaho; Deborah-Jane Dunn (Mark), Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Mary Hill. He was preceded in death by his first son, David Udell, his two sisters: Clara Hill and Ella June Nielson (and husband Jay), his younger brother, Jimmie Bosen (and wife, Pauline), and an older half-brother, Ruland O. Hill.

Udell worked in Civil Service 35 years, most of them at Tooele Army Depot (aka Tooele Ordnance Depot in the years of World War II). He retired on February 29, 1980.

Funeral services Friday, March 15, 1996, 12 noon, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, friends may choose to make memorial donations to American Diabetes Society, American Heart Association of Utah, or Alzheimer's Association.
