Larry Scofield, a 26-year veteran of the airline industry, has been appointed manager of the Salt Lake station for Denver-based Frontier Airlines.

He comes to Salt Lake City from Minneapolis, Minn., where he held a similar post. Scofield has worked for Continental Airlines and before that worked for Frontier before it was sold to another airline in 1986.Frontier got back in business in 1994 and currently has routes linking the hub in Denver to 12 cities in 10 states in the West. Salt Lake City began being served by Frontier in November 1995.
