I wonder what Sen. Bob Dole means by "main-streamism" vs. "extremism"? Seems to me the former might be a synonym for middle-of-the-road or moderate. It is surprising Dole would use that term, wearing the label of a Republican, for it is the very term used by liberal socialists. If he is a mainstreamist, he is too close to the left and means more of the same as we have had since the Communist Manifesto began its influence on our representative government.

In looking over Dole's record and long tenure, little has been found to indicate he has tried to correct the inequalities of the 16th Amendment. George Washington said to avoid foreign entanglements, yet it isn't noticed Dole has put the brakes on much in voting to send our troops to foreign lands uninvited, for purposes of enforcing democracy and seeking world leadership. It was almost an insult to the people of New Hampshire when Dole said that the Granite State was too hard to crack. They just probably choose to think for themselves.

Would that there could be a groundswell as in the days of Washington, wherein his services were sought out rather then him seeking the presidency.
