The YWCA's Noontime Network discussions during April are free and open to the public each Thursday at the YWCA, 322 E. 300 South.
On Thursday, April 4, Debra Daniels will talk about CHOICES, the newest violence-prevention program at the YWCA. Daniels teaches two CHOICES courses, one for women and one for men, for individuals who want to have heathier relationships and prevent abusive dynamics. (Call 355-2804 for dates and cost of CHOICES classes.)On April 11, Gabriela Cetrola, director of YWCA Teen Services, will speak about influences that lead to teen pregnancy and the special needs of teen mothers.
On April 18, the Rev. Barbara Hamilton-Holway, South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society, will speak on "Mind, Body, Spirit: The Delicate Balance."
On April 25, April Walters will speak on sexual harassment and steps to counteract it. Walters is the coordinator of Peer Approach Counseling by Teens (PACT).
