Vera Plant Barbaree, 92, passed away March 12, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born March 11, 1904 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph William and Elizabeth Hodgen Plant. Married Walter P. Barbaree in Los Angeles, Calif. in 1932.Survived by two sisters, Edna P. Neilson, Myrtle B. Frantz; nieces and nephews, Thomas P. Neilsen (Karen), Arch L. Frantz (Marion), Elizabeth F. Wright (Richard), all of Salt Lake City; Lyn Johnston (Robert), and Paul M. Hooper (Sharon), both of Los Angeles, Calif.
Member of Telephone Pioneers of America, active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Retired from 42 years service as traffic supervisor of Pacific Telephone Company, Los Angles, Calif.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 16, 1996 at 11 a.m. Friends and family may call at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Dr., Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Cottonwood Mortuary.
