Our loving, beautiful mother and grandmother, Eloree P. Yeager, 83, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 1996 at her home of cancer. She joined her sweetheart, Merlyn A. "Dutch" Yeager, who passed away March 6, 1984.

Eloree was born September 24, 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Peter and Sofie Petersen. She married Mer on November 12, 1935.She was a life-long educator, teaching elementary school in the Granite School District. She loved traveling with her husband and family to places like Yellowstone, Canada and Hawaii.

After her retirement she enjoyed playing bridge, listening to the Jazz games and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her two sons and one daughter, John A. (Cherrie) Yeager of Sandy, Utah; Dan R. Yeager of Salt Lake City; and Christie (Robert) Fink of Redding, California; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to her very special friend, Suzanne Hammond, her sister-in-law, Rosalie Yeager for their love and support and to Holly Olsen, her loving and gentle nurse's aide and Diane Bowen, her CNS Hospice Nurse. We will miss you, Mom!

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 16, 1996 at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
