Merle LaRae Gillespie Berry, 62, died Wednesday, March 13, 1996 in the American Fork Hospital from heart failure.
Born Jan. 17, 1934 in Mammoth, Utah, daughter of Roland Andrew and Minnie Merle Wheelock Gillespie. Married Weston Glade Berry Sept. 26, 1953 in Eureka, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the Lehi 5th ward, LDS Church.Survived by her husband, Glade of Lehi; three sons and four daughters, Steven G. (Genia) of Helena, Montana; Bart D. ( Kelly) of Cedar Valley; Zane R. (Ruth), Mrs. Annetta (Kevin) Gallagher, both Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Tawnie (Mike) Bingham of Salem; Mrs. Susan (Mark) Dransfield of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; Mrs. Mindy Merle (Ryan) Young of Cedar City; 33 grandchildren; two brothers, Peter K. Gillespie of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; Gary Gillespie of Tacoma, Wash.
Funeral services Saturday, March 16, 1996 at 12 noon in the Lehi 2nd, 5th, 9th LDS Ward Chapel, 465 East 300 North. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Friday, March 15 from 7-9 p.m., and Saturday at the ward chapel from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Cedar Fort City Cemetery.
