Melvin Woodrow Wynder, 81, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and true friend, passed away March 13, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born August 27, 1914 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada to William Winslow and Viola Bevans Wynder. Married Fay Wood July 8, 1943 in the Cardston, Alberta LDS Temple. He was a veteran of World War II, Canadian Army. He completed an LDS mission to Eastern Canada as a young man. Also completed a mission with his eternal companion in the Washington D.C. Temple.Survived by his wife, Fay; children, William W. (Carol), Cypress, Calif.; Eric D. (Sherrie), Littleton, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; five brothers and one sister, Rex (Ida), Sheldon (Verda), Dale (Lois), Bill, all residing in Hills Springs, Alberta; Curtis (HaVee), Provo; Lorraine David, Calgary, Alberta.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 1996, 11 a.m., Bountiful 11th Ward, 1950 South Orchard Drive. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m., Lake View Memorial Estates, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, and Saturday, 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment, Lakeview Memorial Estates.
