Faye Nielsen Porter, 83, died Tuesday, March 12, 1996 at her home.

Born October 27, 1912 in Logan, Utah to Charles Willard and Francis Sommers Nielsen. On September 30, 1935 she married Harvey Porter in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church, Henefer 2nd Ward, where she taught in Primary and Young Women's and served as a visiting teacher. She graduated from Morgan High School and had worked at Kozy Cafe in Echo, Utah, retiring in 1977.Surviving are her husband, Henefer; two sons and two daughters, Larry and Nancy Porter, Layton; Allen Porter, Morgan; Donna Porter, Ogden; Barbara and Dale Mountz, East Rochester, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Grant Nielsen, Morgan; and Dan Nielsen, Twin Falls, Idaho. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Warren (Peggy) Jones, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services Saturday, March 16, 1996, 12 noon in the Henefer 2nd Ward Chapel with Bishop Carl Dearden officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, North Morgan Cemetery. Funeral directors, Walker Mortuary, Morgan
