A 10-year-old boy with Down syndrome who survived three days in the wilderness with the help of two stray dogs is now seeking shelter - at least temporarily - from Hollywood.
Josh Carlisle was lost for 70 hours after apparently following two stray dogs from his yard. The dogs saved his life by keeping him warm in sub-freezing temperatures. At least six film companies are seeking the rights to his story, said Janice Sanders, who has been hired as a spokeswoman for the family. The Carlisles went into seclusion after Josh was released from the hospital Tuesday, rather than return to their home in Cassville.
"They have asked to have some time to get their lives together," Sanders said.
