Leone Augusta Erickson Robinson, age 86, died March 13, 1996 at her daughter Rose's home in Provo, Utah.

She was born August 13, 1909 in Glen, Idaho, the daughter of Robert August and Mary Luella Edwards Erickson. She married John Melvin Robinson, October 10, 1929 in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death, November 14, 1972.Leone was the third child of Robert and Luella Erickson. At the age of 13 she dropped out of school to take care of her family and invalid mother. She graduated from high school in 1957. Leone and her husband, Melvin, were blessed with ten children. Leone held numerous leadership positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a mission to the Portland, Oregon Mission in 1977. Her occupation was mother and grandmother. Her business was the family. She helped financially by driving school bus, cooking at school, skinning beavers and working at the Star Valley Creamery.

She is survived by her five sons and three daughters, John (JoAnn) Robinson, of Tohatchie, New Mexico; Renn (Donna) Robinson, of Murray; Bruce (Joyce) Robinson, of Bedford, Wyoming; Rose (Doyle) Jensen, of Provo; Audrey (Bob) Westrop, of Pincher Creek, Canada; Mary Lue (Butch) Jensen, of Logandale, Nevada; Merrill (Carole) Robinson, of Los Lunas, New Mexico; Clint (Frankie) Robinson, of Stevensville, Montana; Augusta (Phil) Dimmick, of Safford, Arizona; 54 grandchildren, 97 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Milton Erickson, of Afton, Wyoming; Morris Erickson, of Sun City, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Lynn Robinson, a daughter, Verlene Miles, two grandsons, Lane Robinson, Mark Miles, two granddaughters, Heather Jensen, Deva Bailey, two great-granddaughters, Mary Luella Miles, Brook Hilton, her parents, two brothers, Warren and Edgar Erickson, sister, Norma Reeves.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 1996 at 1 p.m. at the Edgemont 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, 3230 North 555 East, Provo. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center, Friday evening 6-9 p.m. or at the ward chapel, Saturday 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Additional services will be held Monday, March 18, 1996 at 12 noon at the Bedford, Wyoming Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel Monday 10-11:30 a.m. Interment, Freedom Cemetery, Star Valley, Wyoming.
