Albert Conley Schench, 74, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 1996, at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden from complications following surgery.

He was born July 30, 1921, in Randolph, Utah, to Oscar Lorenzo and Hannah Luella Schenck. On May 28, 1955, he married Beatrice Andreason in Elko, Nev. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple, April 27, 1985. He graduated from South Rich High School in Randolph and attended Utah State Agricultural College in Logan and Weber College.He served four years in the U.S. Army during World War II. After his discharge he worked at Hill AFB. He and his brother, Lyman, operated Ute Motor in Sunset and he worked for Mills Equipment for 22 years. In 1982 he owned and operated Al's Farm Equipment Repair in Syracuse, retiring in 1992.

He was a member of the Roy LDS 8th Ward, having served as second counselor and secretary in the High Priest Quorum for several years.

Mr. Schenck is survived by his wife, Bea, Roy; one daughter, Sharon (Ken) Sackett, four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at Myers Mortuary of Roy, 5865 So. 1900 West, at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, 1996. Friends may call at the mortuary from 6-8 p.m. Sunday and from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Monday. Interment in the Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, where miitary honors will be accorded by the VFW Honor Guard.
