Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister, left this life to join loved ones on the other side on March 14, 1996 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Those who will miss her will be comforted by her new-found happiness.
Born February 29, 1904 in Richfield, Sevier County, Utah to Olena Matilda Olsen Dalton. Her father, Edward Milton Dalton, died six months prior to her birth. Married Byron Nelson Parker on July 19, 1924 in Richfield, Utah; marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 13, 1926.Survived by five children: Maxine, Sandy; Byron Maurice (Joyce), Holladay; Doris (William) Payne, Las Cruces, New Mexico; Scott Edward, Orange, California; Gregory Allen (Jeanene), Norman, Oklahoma; son-in-law, Donald Hal Davis; daughter-in-law, Edna Pappa Parker; 37 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; three half sisters, Mary Parker Frandsen; Olive Parker Nielsen, Hulda Parker Young; stepbrother, Clayton Parker; stepsister, Melba Parker Redd.
Preceded in death by her husband; sons, Edward Foy and Trent Joe; daughter, Mercedese Davis; grandchildren, Brenda Payne Clifton and Joseph Scott Davis; great-grandson, Christopher Lee Jarvis.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 1996, at 1 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 So. State, Midvale, where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, 4391 West 4100 South, West Valley City.
