On March 15, 1996, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, returned to her Heavenly Father following a short illness.

Selma, born in Ogden, Utah on July 6, 1906 to Johann and Jensine Pedersen, was one of 7 children. She married Carl William Kendall in Farmington, Utah, July 3, 1931; solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on April 4, 1935.A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served faithfully in a number of callings and particularly enjoyed being a visiting teacher.

She taught first grade for over 30 years in Salt Lake City Schools and was a great influence on many young people.

Selma is survived by her husband Carl, Salt Lake City; son, Richard, Highland, Utah; daughters, Carol, Germantown, Tennessee and Diane, Salt Lake City; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 1996, 11:00 am, Lincoln Ward, 2005 South 900 East. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Monday, 6-8 pm, and Tuesday at the Ward, one hour prior to services.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
