DEATH: ROWENE PETERSON WIDDISON

Rowene Peterson Widdison, born of Fritjof and Margaret Bartlett Peterson, in Aberdeen, Idaho, passed from this life April 27, 1996. After a valiant struggle with cancer, she has rejoined her husband, Earl.

She leaves in this life her sons, Richard (Alice) and Keith (Johanna); daughters, Susan Tweed and Cecelia (Alvaro) Paz; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five brothers, F.B. Dean, Reed, Max and Normand L. Peterson; two sisters, Margaret Harvey and Opal Hoffman.Her lifetime achievements are too numerous to list. Tirelessly involved in many charitable spheres she was a Master Preserver, Master Gardener, and a part of West Valley CERT. Nothing she did could compare to the way she put into practice her religious convictions. The family wishes to extend the warmest and most sincere thanks to those who did so much to help her.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. at the Hunter South Stake, 5180 West 4700 South. Friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Saturday, at the church, 12-12:45 p.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary.
