DEATH: LEE CANNON CHENEY

Lee Cannon Cheney, died May 8, 1996 in Dearborn, Michigan. Age 87.

Born in Centerville, Utah. Beloved husband of Margaret and the late Jane. Dear father of Susan Cheney Arbeit, St. Paul, Minn.; Melissa Vercillo, Syracuse, New York; John Cannon Cheney, Kenmore, New York, and Michael Lee Cheney, Flossmoor, Ill.; brother of Hal Cheney, Centerville, Utah. Also survived by five grandchildren.Mr. Cheney was on a team of chemists that won a Noble Prize for discovering Vitamin K (1942) at the University of St. Louis, and patented over 30 antibiotics (including Polycillin) in his 25-year career at Bristol Meyers in Syracuse, New York.

Services and burial will take place May 27, 1996 in Bourbon, Indiana. Arrangements by A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, Troy, Minn. (810-362-2500).
