William Grover Summers, 75, passed away May 10, 1996, following complications due to surgery.

Born April 29, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Grover F. and Maude Davis Summers. Married Maxine Pattison, August 19, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Graduate of East High and worked for U.P.&L. as an accountant. Master Mason and past master of Uintah Lodge #47 A.M. & El Kalah Shrine. Sponsored many children into the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital. He loved fishing, golf and speinding time with his family and friends.Survived by wife, step-children, Palmer S. and Jolene Pattison, Phillip D. and Diana Pattison, Ann P. and Rob Haertel, 16 grandchildren and one great-grandson, who were all the pride and joy of his life. Sister, Betty S. and C.W. Holmes, niece, Betty Lou and Mick Wiley, grandnephew, Michael Gugino, also many friends and Masonic brothers.

The family wishes to thank the physicians and care givers at Cottonwood Hospital for the constant and loving care.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 14, 12 noon at Jenkins Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, where friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggest donations to Shriner's Crippled Childrens Hospital, Fairfax Rd. and Virginia St., S.L.C., Utah 84103.
