DEATH: FAY BECK PECK

Fay Beck Peck, age 81 of Lehi, died peacefully, May 9, 1996 at her home of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 4, 1915 in Lehi, Utah, daughter of Alma and Sarah Fox Beck. Married Thomas J. Peck, Aug. 24, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Feb. 4, 1976.Fay spent most of her life in Lehi where she raised her family. Her sweetheart and children were the joy of her life. She served in the PTA. She was very active in the LDS Church and worked in the Relief Society and Primary, including callings in the Presidency of these organizations. She also loved attending and serving in the Temple. She cared for her brother and sister in their later years and gave a life-time of service to her family, friends, and neighbors, including many small acts of love and generosity.

She is survived by three sons and four daughters, Anthony Thomas (Janice) Peck, R. Tom (Judy) Peck, Ted J. (Glenda) Peck, Judy (Bob) Whimpey, Dixie (Steve) Houghton, and Nicolette (Jerry) Hunter, all of Lehi; Cindy (Jim) Yates, Highland; 29 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Clista Holdaway, Vineyard, Utah; sister-in-law, Verland Beck, Lehi. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Mildred Garrity, Art E. Beck, Alma Henderson, Elwin Beck, Bertrand Beck, June Chilton, and by grandchildren, Alexa Peck, Braden Hunter, and Cole Anthony Peck.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 15, 1996 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi 5th Ward LDS Chapel, 465 E. 300 No. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and also at the mortuary, Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery.
