DEATH: LUDEAN VARNER

On May 11, 1996, our dearly beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at home at the age of 63.

Born February 3, 1932, in Oasis, Utah to Charlie and Florence Williams, the fifth of eight children. Received her education in Tooele where she met her dear husband, Charles Varner. They were married January 7, 1948, and were the proud parents of six children. She was a member of the LDS Church. She had a good sense of humor and was loved by all those whose lives she touched. She loved camping and was camp hostess at many campgrounds. Most of all she loved being a mother, a calling at which she excelled.It is a joyous reunion for her to be with her husband and daughter, Phyllis, as well as her parents and two brothers who have preceded her in their life's quest.

Survived by brother, Lee (Kathy) Williams, sisters, Afton (Glen) Wilcox, Shirley (Dick) Brown, Joan Smith, Gwen (Don) McPhie; five children, Bonnie (Scott) Smith, Jerry (Gail) Varner, Judy (Charley) Crouch, Donald (Geri) Varner, Douglas Varner; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren whom she loves dearly.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 15, 1996, at 10 a.m. at the Granger 6th Ward, 2835 So. 2855 West. Friends may call Tuesday at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, Murray, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, one hour prior to the services. Burial in the Tooele City Cemetery.
