Christopher Boswell McComas, our beautiful golden boy, passed away from this earth May 13, 1996.

He was born October 8, 1984 in Hinsdale, Illinois. Chris and his family lived for five years in Greensboro, North Carolina and have resided in the Olympus Cove area of Salt Lake City since 1990.Christopher is survived by his parents, Robert and Gail McComas (who affectionately called him "The Pook"), by his sister, Meghan Audrey McComas and his brother, Tyler Pierce McComas. Chris was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his immediate family, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Chris's strong spirit revealed itself in his serious approach to his studies, his love of his family, and his extraordinary perseverance in his many athletic endeavors. He was an outstanding swimmer for the Cottonwood Club swim team, claiming numerous first place awards. He played soccer with the Musketeers, loved scoring goals and had scored a goal on Saturday, the day of his accident. Way to go, Pook! Our darling Christopher, we will miss watching you run the soccer fields. But others who would not otherwise have had the chance will run, see and live because of your loving gifts to them through the Organ Donor Program.

In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that donations be made to Oakridge School for a playground memorial.
