DEATH: VIOLA EBERT

Viola Elizabeth Smith Ebert, 94, passed away May 14, 1996 in Murray, Utah.

Born November 29, 1901 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Willard Henry and Elizabeth Harris Smith. Married Paul H. Ebert, June 16, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he preceded her in death June 3, 1979. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lived in Granite, Sandy and Salt Lake City. Member of the LDS Church, where she was a visiting teacher, a Primary teacher, sang in the Relief Society "Singing Mothers", enjoyed doing temple work and serving others. Member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She like to embroider and loved being with her family.Survived by children: Paul (Beth) Ebert, Kearns; Marion (Zane) Peterson, Taylorsville; Donald W. (Marilyn) Ebert, Sandy; Joyce (Leon) Johnson, Viola (Val) Smith, all of Layton; 29 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Day, Springville.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 noon, at the Kearns 6th Ward, 4260 West 5215 South. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Rd. and Friday at the church 11 to 11:45 a.m. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
