Salt Lake City's own folk hero Peter Breinholt returns to Kingsbury Hall Saturday, May 18. The music and meanderings begin at 8 p.m.
Breinholt and his backing band Big Parade made their performance debut two years ago at Kingsbury Hall opening for local pianist/composer John Schmidt. This time around, Breinholt is the headliner.The guitarist's first album, "Songs About the Great Divide," began a buzz in town and has sold continually since it's release in 1994. Breinholt's new album "Heartland" continues Breinholt's story-telling style and has received airplay on KISN 97.1 and KBEE 98.7 radio stations.
Big Parade features bassist Mike Ensign, keyboard player David Tolk, mandolinist Ryan Shupe, cellist Steve Nelson and harmonica huffer Greg Whiteley.
