DEATH: FLOYD BLAINE GEORGE

Floyd Blaine George, 49, passed away May 17, 1996.

Born March 17, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Walter Blaine and Zenna Peck George. Married Jean Grant Romero, February 6, 1987 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Floyd was an active member of the LDS Church. Served in the Northwestern States Mission. He had a great love of music and sang with the Tabernacle Choir for nine years. He also loved teaching the youth and helping youth find their way.Survived by his loving wife, Jean, Sandy; parents, West Valley City; brothers, Russ (Lou) George, West Jordan; Neal (Shirlayne) George, Taylorsville; Steve (Tracy) Sandquist, West Jordan; 1st Lt. T. G. (Rachel) George, Layton; sister, Marilyn (Dennis) Casaday, Taylorsville; he spent many hours entertaining his nieces and nephews who loved and adored him.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 12 noon at the Sandy Alta View 6th Ward, 8909 South 1700 East. Friends may call Sunday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Monday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
