DEATH: VELMA MARCHANT

Velma Marchant, 90, died May 15, 1996 in Bountiful, Utah.

Born February 23, 1906 in Park City, Utah to Charles A. and Ethel (Rasmussen) Rolfe. Married Dell Marchant June 3, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She served an LDS mission in California. Graduated from University of Utah. She worked with her husband in Marchant's Cash Store, Peoa, Utah, over 50 years. Member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Survived by sons, Calvin R. (Wynne Anne) Marchant, Salt Lake City; Randy R. (Penne) Marchant, Bountiful; daughter, Mrs. Gaye (Kent) Moesser of Sandia Park, New Mexico; sisters, Leora Robinson, Coalville; Merle Anderson, Orem; Mona Liechty, serving an LDS mission in Toronto, Canada; aslo 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, one son, Kent R., and one daughter, Dixie

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, 1996 at 11 a.m., in the Peoa LDS Ward chapel, where friends may call on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday, one hour prior to service. Interment, Peoa Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, Kamas, Utah.
