DEATH: MARY PALMER PRICE

Mary LaVaun Dewey Palmer Price, 77, our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away May 16, 1996 in Sandy. Born January 28, 1919 in Draper, Utah to Alfred Henry and Hannah Mary Dean Dewey. Married Ray Adelbert Palmer in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 10, 1936. He preceded her in death. Married Bruce Jay Price in Salt Lake City, Utah, October 15, 1977.

Mary was raised in Draper, lived in Riverton for 37 years and has lived in Sandy for the last 18 years. Graduate of Jordan High School, she worked for National Semiconductor. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a Scouting leader and in the Primary for 20 years. She has enjoyed name extraction for the last 15 years.Surivivors: husband, Bruce Jay Price, Sandy; sons, Ray (Rosie) Palmer, Flagstaff, Arizona; Henry (Julia) Palmer, Holt, Missouri; daughters, Marianna Lee, Draper; Barbara (Arlin) Finch, Layton; Janice (Michael) Draper, Phoenix, Arizona; LaVaun Cleveland, Riverton; Leslee Carter, Salt Lake City; Clara (Jack) Turner, South Jordan; Gloria (Art) Fischer, Donna (Ralph) Fischer, both Salt Lake City; 36 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; brothers, Harold A. Dewey, Draper; Julian C. Dewey, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by brother, A. Dean Dewey.

Funeral services Tuesday, May 21, 1996, at 11 a.m. in the Alta View LDS Stake Center, 1850 East 8600 South, Sandy. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery.
