Richard Edwin Cederholm, age 71, died May 17, 1996 of a short battle with cancer.

Born March 21, 1925 to Edwin A. and Marion Jennings Cederholm. Married Mary Ann Hansen in 1944; later divorced. Married Maryjane Jensen on March 25, 1983; the marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple.At the time of his death, Dick was serving as second counselor in the bishopric of the Taylors Grove Ward and president of Questarian (Mountain Fuel Supply's retirement organization). Dick spent most of his working career in the sewing industry, Salt Lake Knitting Works, Beehive Clothing Mills, Pikes, and Fritzi. He retired after nine years of service from Mountain Fuel Supply. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Navy. Dick blessed the lives of his friends and family with beautiful wood pieces made on his scroll saw.

He is survived by his sweetheart, Maryjane Cederholm; and children: Sandra, Portland, Oregon; Michael Richard - Mickey (Barbara), South Jordan; Gennie Cederholm Alderson, San Jose, California; Jeff (Teri) and Kelly (Billie), both of Kearns; three stepchildren: Carolyn Larsen, Orem; Beverly (Frank) Copeland, Auburn, Washington; and Michael (Paula) Jensen, Lyman, Wyoming; sister, Donna (Frank) Panacci, San Francisco, California; 27 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 noon, at Taylors Grove Ward, 955 West 4800 South. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
