Gregory Mark Temple, age 48, loving husband, father, brother and friend, passed from this life to a greater work on Sunday April 28, 1996.

He was born September 5, 1947 to James K. and Margie R. Mitchell Temple in Inglewood, Los Angeles Co., California. He served an LDS mission to the Central States.Greg married Robin Ann Edgel in the Salt Lake Temple on April 26, 1974. The adoption of their sweet children, Austen Mark and Brynna Angelise brought great joy to their union.

After receiving degrees from Long Beach City College and BYU, Greg pursued a career in insurance and financial consulting. He earned his Charter Life Underwriter designation and served as the president of the Central Utah Association of Life Underwriters. His success, however, must be attributed to his great love for the people whom he served.

Greg's greatest love, however, was his music. His natural but untrained gift was set free by the computer age. He was finally able to give voice to the full orchestra in his head and heart.

Survived by his wife and children; sisters, Jay'me (Frank) Hoeffgen, Poway, Calif.; Linda Temple-Hart, Heber City; Lisa A. Temple, Oakland, Calif.; Angela (David) Free, San Leandro, Calif.; brothers, Russell Temple, Provo; and Ken Temple, Orem.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 4, 1996, at 12 noon, at the Crescent 13th Ward chapel, 2135 East Pepperwood Dr, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary, 10055 So. State in Sandy and one hour before the funeral service at the Ward. Interment, Larkin Sunset Memorial Gardens, 10600 So. 1700 East.
