DEATH: MAE CHAPIN BUTTERS CALL

Mae Chapin Butters Call, 83, returned to her Heavenly Father, and her many loved ones, April 29, 1996, of natural causes.

Born November 22, 1912, the second of three daughters, to Charlotte Mae Rich and Robert C. Chapin in Morgan, Utah. Graduated Morgan High School, also attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City. Married Glen W. Butters in 1932. This union brought three daughters and one son - LaDelle (Monte) Garrett, Stevensville, Montana; Sherrie (Bob) Trujillo, Bountiful, Utah; and Karel Mae (Bob) Dickson, Vernal, Utah; Brian (Shauna) Butters, South Jordan, Utah.She was a very devoted and loving mother, and grandmother, supporting her family in all their activities. Managed an insurance company and variety store for many years in Morgan. Also worked at HAFB, retiring after 22 years. In addition to her family, her membership in the LDS Church was very important to her. She held many callings including Stake Sunday School secretary for many years. She was an avid genealogist and a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Also a faithful visiting teacher and temple worker. She moved to Bountiful, Utah in 1976. She married Otis Call in the Salt Lake Temple, June 10, 1985.

Preceded in death by her mother, father, sister, Ruth Feaman, her husbands, Glen Butters and Otis Call, daughter, LaDelle Garrett, son-in-law, Monte Garrett, great-grandson, Jay Bateman.

She is survived by her three children; sister, Hazel Mickelsen, Provo; 19 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.

The family expresses appreciation to Juanita Kiplinger for her devoted and loving care of their mother.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 4, 1996 at 1 p.m. in the LDS Chapel, 2285 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah. Friends and family may call at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, from 7-9 p.m. Friday evening and at the chapel 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to service. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
