Edith Annie Watson Whitehead, age 85, has "Gone Beyond the Sunset" to be with her loved ones and remembered by those left behind, May 18, 1996.

Born October 20, 1910, in Winter Quarters, Utah, to Robert Benjamin and Louisa Osborne Watson. Married Francis E. Whitehead in 1927; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She served as Relief Society president for nine and one-half years in the Pioneer 32nd Ward. She always helped her children and grandchildren when needed.

Survived by her husband; children, Francis W. (Carol), Sandra (Robert) Baron; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sister, Clarice Baird.

Preceded in death by eight siblings.

Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother left his world after much suffering. Her grandson, Craig W. Whitehead, released her with a blessing to continue her journey into the eternities.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 22, at 12 noon at Colonial Memorial Mortuary, 2128 South State, where family and friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will immediately follow services at Larking Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South.
