DEATH: ANNA MAE WEBB

Anna Mae Powell Webb, loving mother and wife, passed away on May 20, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada where she had been visiting her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was born November 21, 1913, in Pittsburgh, Georgia to James Powell and Bula Warren. She attended schools in Lynch, Kentucky where she graduated in 1932. She was noted as being a star basketball player and won many awards in her basketball games. She married Guy James Webb on December 14, 1935. They had three children. They later settled in East Carbon, Utah, in those days known as Dragerton. There she worked in the retail business.Survived by son, William R. and Connie Webb, Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Linda Taylor, Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Daniel Webb, Henderson, Nevada; Ron Webb, Las Vegas, Nevada; John Price, Las Vegas, Nevada; great-grandchildren, Colton, Randy, Jessica, and Taylor; sister, Kathryn Mayberry, Longview, Texas; brother, Allen Powell, Chattanooga, Tennessee; preceded in death by son, James Guy Webb, and husband, Guy James Webb.

Funeral services Friday, May 24, 1996, 11 a.m., Mitchell Chapel. Family will be at Mitchell's one hour prior to services. Friends may call Mitchell's Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Interment: Price City Cemetery.
