DEATH: LILLIAN CLAIRE CASTLETON CRANMER

Lillian Claire Castleton Cranmer, age 76, died peacefully at her granddaughter's home on May 20, 1996.

She was born February 16, 1920 in Seattle, Washington. She married Robert Loring Cranmer. They later divorced.She was a member of the Salt Lake Junior League, and served with the Good Samaritan Society of San Mateo, California. Claire had the good fortune of traveling the world over.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lillian Claire Cranmer of Salt Lake City; and Catherine Cranmer Grumich of San Francisco, Calif.; two grandchildren, Lillian Brooke Hines of West Jordan; and Flora T. Grumich of San Francisco, Calif.; two great-grandchildren, Arianna and Alexander Hines, and one sister, Martha Castleton Rypinski of Eugene, Oregon.

Graveside services will be Friday, May 24, 1996, at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, 1996, at Evans & Early Mortury, 574 East 100 So., Salt Lake City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Primary Children's Hospital in memory of Claire Cranmer at P.O. Box 58249 SLC, UT 84158-0249
