James Richard Salvage, 78, of Salt Lake City, died May 19, 1996.
Born December 5, 1917 in Walsenberg, Colorado to James Michael and Gertrude Marie Hermond Salvage.He married Margaret Savage, July 1, 1952, the Cathedral of the Madeleine, Salt Lake City.
He retired from Hill Field. A member of the Knights of Columbus and A.A.R.P. He was a very kind, gentle person.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sisters, Cecelia LaNore, Riverdale, Maryland; Aline E. Rusnak, Wasilla, Alaska; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a brother, James Francis Salvage.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Villa Chapel, 451 East Bishop Federal Lane (1940 South), where friends may call one hour prior to the funeral mass. Committal: Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Avenue and "T" Street. Funeral Directors: Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary.
