SEVEN PEAKS GETTING A NEW LEASE ON LIFE

The four new owners of Seven Peaks Water Resort not only are trying to get the business open on Saturday, May 25, but are attempting to erase misconceptions the public has because of the previous owners' bankruptcy.

Scott and Brent McQuarrie, developers who purchased the adjacent golf course two years ago have joined with Max Rabner and Stan Ricks as partners in the resort. They are rushing to get things ready for the grand opening, but add that changes will be made all summer on the grounds, buildings and attractions that are being remodeled to reflect an 1800s mountain and mining theme.

The four men promised that Seven Peaks is a family-oriented park that will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Their goal is to make the resort a destination and minivacation place.
