Police were called to a bar Wednesday after the manager found a cardboard box containing materials resembling an explosive.
After evacuating employees and patrons at Southern Exposure, 5142 S. State, and neighboring businesses, bomb experts X-rayed the 1-by-2-foot box, according to Murray Police Sgt. Gerry Christensen. No explosives were found.
"It looks like (the materials) were never intented to look like a bomb," said Christensen. "It was some guy's invention, he left it for one of the employees to see."
The invention was apparently some kind of paint sprayer, said Christensen.
