valiant struggle with cancer.

He was born in Salt Lake City, December 19, 1966, to Douglas LaMar and Arva Sampson Dumas. Michael was a graduate of American Fork High School and attended Utah State University. He served an honorable mission for the LDS Church to the West Virginia Charleston Mission. He always showed a great love and concern for his family and friends, especially his niece and nephews. We will all miss him and his great sense of comic timing.Survived by parents, South Jordan; sisters, Debbie and Teresa Dumas; Paula (Okusi) Ataata; niece and nephews, Zach, Christopher, Michael, Sarah, all of West Jordan. Michael was preceded in death by his four grandparents.

The family would like to express a special thank you to all of the doctors, nurses and staff on the 4th floor of the Salt Lake Regional Medical Center who gave him such wonderful care during his last days here on earth.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, located t 10600 South 1700 East in Sandy. Friends may also call one hour prior to funeral services which will be held Thursday, May 30, at 11 a.m. at the LDS Country Park 2nd/5th Wards Chapel located on 1988 West 11400 South, South Jordan. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
