Ivan Hatch Tolman passed away at his home in Highland, Utah on May 2, 1996.

Ivan was born September 9, 1920 in Lovell, Wyoming to Jaren Thomas and Lora Elizabeth Hatch Tolman. He was the youngest of 12 children. He married Edith Bleak Dec. 19, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served in World War II and worked for Lang Company in Salt Lake City for many years before transferring to Chicago and then to Los Angeles. In 1984 he retired and moved to Highland, Utah. Ivan enjoyed many activities including horses, golf, bowling, gardening, woodworking, stain glass and traveling.Survived by his wife, three sons, Brent (Laura), Gary, Jeff (Shannon); seven grandchildren; brothers, Wilford and Glenn, sisters, Nancy and Grace and many friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Highland Stake Center, 9600 No. 6800 West, Highland, Utah. Friends may call Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church 1 to 1:45 p.m. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
