Russell Bradford Odell, age 52, died suddenly from a heart attack on May 28, 1996.

Born January 19, 1944 in Salt Lake City, to Hial Bradford and LaWain Lowry Odell. He married Piedade de Jesus Preto Fernandes, June 1, 1991 in the Jordan River LDS Temple. He remained an active member of the LDS Church, serving in various capacities including executive secretary for the Park Stake.Russell was employed by the Utah Transit Authority and received a UTA Excellence Award in June 1995. He earlier worked as a photographer for the Salt Lake Tribune. He was talented in this field and continued his interest in photography throughout his life.

Preceded in death by his parents. His help to his mother during her final, lingering illness was immeasurable.

Survived by his wife and two children, Carlos Martins Odell and Rachel Odell, and by brothers, Kenneth (Wilma) Odell and Douglas Odell, sister, Sharon (Daniel) Burt, and six nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 1, at the Princeton Ward, 1078 So. McClelland Street (1040 East) at 11 a.m. Friends may call there one hour prior to services. Burial at Mt. View Memorial Estates.
