CAPTION ONLY: TORNADOES KICK UP DUST IN COLORADO

A tornado sends debris in the air near Fort Morgan, Colo., on Thursday. The tornado destroyed an abandoned dairy barn and tore the roof off a nearby house. At least two other tornadoes touched down in northeastern Colorado Thursday. No injuries were reported. Thunderstorms soaked central Texas before daybreak Friday, while another storm system moved across parts of South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas. One of the three tornadoes that touched down in Utah this week registered as an F1 on a strength indicator, as large as nearly any twister that's ever hit the state. See story on B2.
