DEATH: LOUISE BOWEEN CONNOLLY

Our mother died peacefully on Thursday, May 3, 1996 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Louise Bowen was born in Castle Dale, Utah September 22, 1923, to Homer W. and Sara Oveson Bowen. She married Edward Joseph Connolly, Jr. on April 30, 1946. She graduated from the University of Utah in 1947 with a BA in Business Administration. Retired from Durr-Fillauer Medical Supply in 1992.Louise was an active member of the LDS Church, the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and enjoyed three years of broadcasting on "What's Cooking with Louise" at KBOI in Boise, Idaho. She was a devoted grandmother.

Louise is survived by two sisters, Betty Murdock of Salt Lake City; Ruth Day and her husband, Reed of Twin Falls, Idaho; five children, Dean B. and Joan Connolly; Diane Zerull, Marianne and Garth Andrus, all of Salt Lake City; Bruce F. and Glenda Connolly of Nampa, Idaho; Janeen Rohovit of Tempe, Arizona; 30 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Doug Zerull for building a beautiful home for our mother in her final years.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 6, 1996, at 12 noon, in the Monument Park 4th Ward Chapel, 2215 E. Roosevelt Ave. Friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. At Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, SLC, and Monday, at the ward one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Cemetery, 4100 South 4400 West.
