A telephoned death threat against the author of a book about the Billionaire Boys Club prompted a bookstore in a Los Angeles mall to cancel a scheduled reading.

Randall Sullivan was to read excerpts from his book, "The Price of Experience: Power, Money, Image and Murder in Los Angeles," Tuesday night at Bookstar in the Beverly Center.The book tells the story of the Billionaire Boys Club, founded by Joe Hunt at the elite Harvard School in the Studio City section of Los Angeles. Hunt was convicted of murdering con man Ron Levin.
