Sarah Ann Hess Moon, age 74, passed away Friday, May 3, 1996 in Bountiful, Utah.

She was born May 18, 1921 in Plymouth, Utah, a daughter of Charles Edward and Pearl May Nish Hess. She married Evan W. "Ted" Moon, July 22, 1944 in Farmington, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Her greatest happiness came from her family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the Farmington 10th Ward. She was a cook at Lee's Cafe and at the Heidelberg Restaurant.Sarah is survived by three sons and one daughter, Bruce (Teri) Moon, Kaysville; Richard (Terry) Moon, Twin Falls, Idaho; Verl (Laura) Moon, Layton; Karla (Chad) Smith, Farmington; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother, Della Silvester, Tremonton; Dona Holmes, Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Norris (Edna) Hess, Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 7, 1996 at 11 a.m. at the Farmington, Utah North LDS Stake Center, 729 West Shepard Lane. Friends and family may call at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, and Tuesday one hour prior to services at the stake center. Interment in Farmington City Cemetery.
