Fire engulfs the headquarters of a financially troubled French bank in Paris on Sunday, injuring 30 firefighters and sending up a funnel of black smoke that dwarfs the Eiffel Tower. The spectacular blaze was the latest crisis to hit state-owned Credit Lyonnais, bailed out by the French government last year. There were no indications of foul play in Sunday's fire.
