Ida Louise Burt Burningham Campbell, 87, died peacefully after a lingering illness May 5, 1996. A loving sister, wife, mother and grandmother.

Born in Salt Lake City, December 15, 1908, to Robert Watson and Katie Crowther Burt. Graduated from West High School in 1927. Married Marlow Garrett Burningham September 10, 1930, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death August 12, 1952. Married Melvin Richard Campbell April 4, 1953.Ida was an active member of the LDS Church, serving her Father in Heaven. She was an active member of the DUP. Devoted many years working for Bountiful City with close friends. She enjoyed farming, gardening, genealogy, poetry, needle work and the great love of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Campbell; a daughter, Carol Burningham (Robert) Simillion, St. George, Utah; a son, Marlow Burt (Carolyn) Burningham, Bountiful, Utah; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Orville F. (JenaLou) and Russell D. (Kathleen) Burt; sisters, Ruth Gayle and Harriet Oldham.

Among those eagerly awaiting her arrival for this new journey we call death, are her parents, her husband, Marlow, her baby daughter, Ida Geraldine, sister, Dorothy, brothers, Robert, Ray and Lyman Burt. Also grandson, Bradley Rawlins and four great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Lacey, Cami and Deja.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 8, 1996, at 12 noon in the Bountiful Oak Hills Ward Chapel, 500 South 1200 East, Bountiful, Utah. Friends may call at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Tuesday, May 7, from 6-8 p.m. and at the Oak Hills Ward Wednesday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery.

She will be missed by all those who loved her. She left a Beautiful Image wherever she went.
