PROVO BASEBALL COMPLEX NAMED FOR KARL THALMAN

Provo's newest baseball complex has been named in honor of longtime businessman and City Councilman Karl J. Thalman.

Stewart during a ceremony honoring Thalman for his years of service to the youth in the community. From 1954 to 1983, Thalman was president of the Provo City Youth Baseball Council. During that time, it is estimated he worked with and influenced 12,000 children, 696 adult coaches and 2,400 parents.
