Max Eugene Cawley, 75, died May 6, 1996 in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan.
Born June 6, 1920 in Ogden, Utah to George W. and Maude Lynch Cawley. Married Virginia Dee Covey, August 5, 1942, in Reno, Nevada.Received his BA degree in 1947 from University of California, his MA from Navy Post Graduate School in 1953, an MBA from Michigan State in 1968, and a Master's in Guidance and Counseling in 1972 from Wayne State. Served in the US Navy During World War II. Later became a US Navy pilot, retiring in 1968 as A commander after 28 years. Retired from Wayne State University in 1985.
Survived by his wife; daughter, Carolyn (Clark) Rodewald; two sons, Max E. (Marina), Jr., and Charles G.; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A visitation will be held Friday, May 10th, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple. Interment will occur Saturday, 12 noon, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
