The Utah Centennial Wagon Train makes its way along State Street in Salt Lake City Monday morning. The caravan passed through Salt Lake City and Murray Monday en route to an evening camp at Draper City Park, 124 S. 1200 East. It was scheduled to pass into Pleasant Grove on Tuesday afternoon from the north along U-146 and spend the night at Pleasant Grove Fairgrounds. On Wednesday, the wagon train will continue south to Provo and on to Spanish Fork. The two-mile-long convoy should arrive in Cedar City on June 28. The Utah Statehood Centennial Commission officials have warned motorists that there may be delays along the route. Eli Anderson and the Centennial Commission planned the wagon train for nearly three years. "We want to express our thanks to the different counties that have rolled out the red carpet for us," he said.
