Harold Lloyd Henry, age 88, passed away on June 10, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born November 23, 1907 in Denver, Colorado to Lloyd Henry and Bertha A. Goodwin. Attended school in Ogden, Utah. Married Alberta Hill November 17, 1950 in Ogden, Utah. Veteran of World War II in the 40th Signal Construction Battalion Army of the United States, serving in Central Europe, Rhineland, Normandy and Northern France. Worked for over 33 years as a waiter on the Diner for Union Pacific Railroad. Member of the Calvary Baptist Church. A quiet and gentle man, a devoted husband and a loving father whose greatest joy in life was helping friends and strangers.Survived by his wife, Alberta; son, Warren Henry, California; daughter, Julia (Daniel) Cosby, West Valley; grandchildren, Patrice, Daniel Julian, and Denitra Cosby, West Valley City; Danyelle and Brandon Cosby, Indianapolis, Ind.; sister-in-law, Rosetta M. Martin, Salt Lake City; brother-in-law, David (Wanda) Hill, Sr. Topeka, Kansas. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Edith; son, Harold, Jr. (Sonny) and Wendell L. Henry

Funeral services will be Friday, June 14, 1996 at 1 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 532 East 700 South, where there will be a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funeral directors, Evans & Early.
